Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into monsters

Vadim hadn’t moved from his spot, even though his mind had already wandered up the invisible trail through the Falls and into the Commons. Memories of his past visits drifted through his mind, filling him with nostalgia when a new scent penetrated his thoughts. Head turning, Vadim leveled his green eyes upon the stranger. He was young; not that Vadim was old, but at least younger than him. There wasn’t a mark on his grullo and white hide that Vadim could see, so he could only assume this was his first outing. As if the lost look on the young stallion’s face wasn’t enough to state that.

For a moment, Vadim thought about ignoring the stranger. Let the Boss, or whoever cared, pick up the new guy. But then, an idea struck Vadim and a small smile cut across his face. Turning, he walked over to the stranger with a friendly air about him. Ears forward, eyes bright; he even offered a smile to try and put the nervousness of the young stallion at ease. “Not often I see a new face wander in of it’s own accord.” Vadim greeted, giving a slight tilt of his head in curiosity. “What brings you here, stranger?” he asked.

The grullo and white stallion might have come here for the opportunity of adventure, or even a new home, but Vadim saw the opportunity of something much greater.
