The sun was beginning to lower as the crescent moon raised higher. It was sunset. Orange and pink hues decorated the sky, not a single cloud in sight. The pale mare lowered her head to graze the lush green grass, her curly and white mane falling over her shoulders in silky waves. The crescent moon would soon take its place in the sky, and the dark of night was her favourite time. It brought a slight smile to the pale mare's face.
She didn't have a herd and the chances of coming across another was most likely very slim. She raised her head, pale blue eyes taking in the lovely sunset. "Beautiful," she murmured. Sure, sun wasn't her favourite, but it did decorate the sky in pretty colours once it set. She huffed out a breath after she stared at the sunset for a moment longer before she lowered her head back down to the lush grass.
She dragged herself to a new spot, underneath a tall tree. The grass was a little longer over here than it was back where she originally grazed at. Her pale curly tresses fell over her shoulders yet again, as she lowered her head to graze the grass.
