PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Güneşlenmek
I'M DISTANT IN THOSE HOLLOW EYES

The journey from Salem had been long and Güneşlenmek was already missing the hard cracked ground beneath his feet. The water had been treacherous at points and he'd watched Marceline as if willing her bad leg to suddenly drag her beneath the waves. He'd held his tongue for most of the trip, though he'd had a few choice words when she'd showed up and won him. As if he was some prize that now belonged to her. His small shadow dusted ears flattened against the bald expanse of his elegant neck. The grass beneath his feet was far too soft as they passed through the commons on their way to the peak.

His eyes are just as dark as his soul feels when he steals a glance at her. His revulsion at the current situation is written plainly on his face despite his normal expression being far more subdued. Where Güneşlenmek was skilled at remaining clouded in neutrality in normal circumstances, his disgust was plain. His nostrils were screwed up, a scowl on his dark lips. His ears rested against his neck, pinned so tightly the might just snap off at the base.

The grass turns to hard packed earth, though he winces at the feel. So much like Salem, and so different at the same time. "I'm not sure what you intentions were, Marceline," he steps closer, drawing his head up and away in an almost giraffe-like manner, "But I do not belong to you." He stares down at her, despite their similar height, before he finally turns away with a scoff and flicks his whip-like tail in her face as he does.

He had to live here, at least for now, but that didn't mean he was going to make it easy.
