The more trouble you stir up on the fire department, the more you are protected. The reason being, now everything done to isolate the problem firefighter is retaliatory unless the discipline is established through the contract, rules and reg, etc. The fire department doesn’t have a callback option (like CPD) for guys under investigation. Maybe we should have one.
