Does that work for OLDER people too, who are also a protected group? Sounds like a good way to score a retirement nestegg through the courts.
Never saw the guy but was it his skin color, lack of knowing the language, that he had a face for radio, or just wasn't as good at the craft as his colleagues? Gray's a big company, does he allege prejudice company-wide, or just one fellow employee? I wouldn't mind sitting in on that trial to see what each side said in court.
He better hope he wins a big award because companies are loathe to hire people with attitudes that themselves cause a hostile work environment!
Guess I was just used to working in an industry where your contract was 'at will' and you could be fired WITH or WITHOUT Cause...and how you part your hair can get you the axe just as easily as a focus group can conclude they don't like your personality or your big nose or receding hairline!
