I figured Grandma's was like Roger The Plumber and all the HVAC businesses we used to have in KC. I figured some corporation from California or some-damned-place had bought out all of the smaller places. They kept a few of the better-known names, consolidated all of the phone numbers, management and accounting in an officed in California, and all the REAL mom-and-pop businesses had folded.
