Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

TURNING MEN INTO monsters

With the quiet of his approach and greeting, Vadim is thankful that Mercury follows suit and keeps her voice just as hushed. She is no doubt suspicious though, and he wants to give a chuckle at that, but swallows it down and just smirks instead. As she approaches him, the pale stallion expects to feel teeth as punishment for leaving her behind as he hadn’t answered her question, but she just nudges at him affectionately instead. A heavy sigh yet again leaves his lips, turning his head to lip at her mane that hangs closer to her cheek, but not quite giving it a tug as he might have done before. Vadim is still on thin ice, he can feel it, even if she does not say it.

“I was taken to the Badlands on Salem.” he answered, his voice low. Not finding need in speaking up with her so close, but also not wanting anyone else to figure out he was here. “It…. Hasn’t been so bad.” Vadim can’t believe he is admitting it out loud, but says it nonetheless. As for the reason, he wasn’t that much into sharing. “I’m sorry Snap as been lonely.” Although, just as Mercury means them both, so does he.

Vadim pulls away from Mercury briefly, casting his green eyes around them and perking his ears briefly, before looking to the buckskin mare again. He couldn’t let his guard slip. Especially with fall upon them. The stallions of the lagoon would surely be more vigilant than usual. “I wanted to make sure everyone was still okay.” If Vadim could do something about it, he had no doubt that he would. But as a prisoner himself, he couldn’t set Mercury or any of the mares free.
