It was always my thought that invalids were a gold mine in the right persons eyes. It seems the black fire brigade has caught on and is angling to utilize their steady stream of EMT�s they�re pumping out. Q with the help of a few key alderman is angling to obtain a few spare ambos to add to the fleet and start taking the pressure off overworked companies on the lift assists. Their plan is to bill the city a flat fee for the contractural year and in turn the city will start billing the caller to recoup the money. I doubt they�ll ever recoup but atleast it will help alleviate some of the nonsense runs we go on. I don�t agree with them on much but this seems like a strong business plan on the BFB part. Plus now they have even more leverage with their foot in the door.
