To be fair before A60 and 61-75 this is how the city added to the fleet they would put up BLS rigs hire single role emts and then eventually train them as medics and upgrade the ambulance. Always with the intention of leaving it BLS at first then realizing we would need to flip the entire system on its head. Might be a good solution to the staffing issue we are facing seeing as no paramedics that want to do paramedic stuff would apply at CFD.
