Dragon-Born

DOVAHKiiN
Weeks have passed since the grizely scene of their mother's death. The trio had been going to greet the new owner of Paradise (who happened to just be the child of the last owner) when it all went down. One of those young jaguars had come back to find a meal. Dovah remembers his mother hiding him when the first attack occurred. They were not so prepared as they had been the last time. The herd had alerted to the danger, but this time not a word was uttered.

Dovah had been running through the jungle like he always did. Searching for that pretty eyed filly again and seeing if he could finally catch the Princesses alone. He just really wanted to charm them. But in one moment the colt was forever scarred. His older sister found him still cowering where his mother hide him. She asked where their mother was and he was speechless. He knew by her screams what had happened.

He wanted his father.

Fast forward to present time, someone new has come to claim Paradise. This time the horse's scent was unknown to them. This was not a part of Frida's family or her kin. "Does this mean my future harem is gone?" The piebald yearling asks his sister as they watch the newcomer charge into the open. The pair were situated at the edge of the jungle under a large leaf for some protection from the rain.

Eeva bumps her little brother while rolling her eyes. "Shush. That is not important now and besides, those fillies are not your proterty. They were your herd mates and you should show them respect." The colt snorts. "Yeah, yeah whatever." Eeva sighs, but focusing back on studying the large mare. There was no way they had any chance against a mare of her size. She wondered if young Azazel would either, but seeing her here meant something had gone wrong.

The call that the large mare sends out chills their spines. The pair exchange glances. They discuss for a moment, but decide there was no other option. They step out into the rain and begin to approach the new owner of Paradise. Their approach is slow and Eeva nickers to alert the mare. No need to startle anyone over the pouring rain and rumbling thunder.
