Desert

For years he has contemplated shouting at his father. He had unanswered questions that even his mother couldn't explain. Though all the pain of their relationship Ysabel still never said anything truly bad about his father. Even though Nico felt slighted by him, and jealous of his half-brother, he still looked up to him. Wanted to be just as famous, well known, loved, whatever it was.

So he keeps his childhood problems at bay. One day he would ask him, but not today. This was no point in bringing up the past now not with everything going on. Father didn't deserve any more stress than what he was under. Moving the herd to Salem was not an easy feat, but Nico would use this time to explore the last island on his list.

Nico decided to stay behind in the Inlet (fitting as he trained to take over), but he had spoken to Parvati about visiting their father. Parvati had her own drama to deal with so she didn't have much train to guide him anyhow. Off he went to the Desert to visit with his father's herd and explore the unknown. Nico was shocked at the rolling hills of sand in the distance. This island was unlike anything he had seen before.

His imagination began to run wild with what kind of horses might call this place home. As he walks from the sea he begins to wonder where it what it was they ate here. Or how did they find fresh water?
