Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO TRUTH.

If there was ever a time to tone down his anger, now was that time. Nahawi stood before his draft brother, a few years distancing their age. The red dun was fully grown, his body as tall and strong as it would get. It would take a few more years to have the knowledge that would give him the right use of his size, but he would never match the sheer strength right before him. Garmr was all uncontained blackness that wished to soil everything he touched into nothingness. It had the red dun wanting to run this horse over and bury him six feet deep without a slight chance of feeling sorry for him. Garmr was nothing but toxicity and Nahawi was done with it.

“Never said you were obsessed with me, Garmr, but your actions show that there is more to your ‘pretty boy’ looks.” Nahawi usually had a tight control over his lips, but he was honestly uncontained himself at the moment. He was tired, he was fed up, and he wanted this stallion to stop being a pain in his ass with the changes he wanted to make. Change was needed and yet every time he turned to look about himself, Nahawi only saw destruction. There were battles going out and so much more that he was not able to stop on his own. He now understood what Rehoboam had been talking about before and he did not like the way this was planning out in his favor.

Muscles quaked on Nahawi’s back and shoulders, his hooves shifting in the muck below him as he raised his head and sent a withering glare at Garmr. “What is everyone else saying that is so easy to repeat then considering I have not caught wind.” Nahawi hated being in the dark about himself, but here he was asking the one stallion he wanted nothing to do with from this day forth just what the other brothers were speaking of him.
