10%?? Im guessing closer to 25%. Are we talking about doing the "job"? Or, are we talking about passing the academy "standards" you need to hit the street? We all know there are several different fire depts amongst the CFD. Airport, Southside, Northside, West(BEST)side,ect ect. Some places you dont need to due as much as other places. But, we ALL should have to pass the same standards to be able to move on. Pull-ups, push-ups, mile and a half, ect, ect. There were at least 7 canidates in my grad class who didn't finish 1 run(mostly cross-overs). It is a tragedy what happened, but to be expected when you lower the standards.
