In a way, Snapdragon did not trust her uncle as far as she could throw him. He was likely to go do something stupid again if there was a horse that was physically stronger than him and she wanted him to either decide what he was doing on his own free will, or to leave without a care in Paradise. It aggravated the soft colored mare, but she did not speak those thoughts out loud and she did not show them on her face either as her ears softly flicked forward to face Roux a bit more diligently, obviously her uncle was useless on that fact with how he acted like a dog that had been beaten.


“The land was given to me by Siren. I was not anticipating it whatsoever and she told me her reasons for doing as she had.” Snapdragon was vague on the answer, Rutger not needing to know the truth in its entirety about why she was the boss of Paradise, She knew it was because Siren hoped to ease tension with her grandfather, but Snapdragon herself wanted to take a chunk out of the large draft mare and go deliver it to Tyr’s doorstep like a cat that had caught its owner a bird. She had her own things she needed, just like Rutger did.


“We have sought you out for hellos and to see if you wish to stay here with Siren leaving.” Snapdragon spoke, her uncle slowly stepping back and not putting anything further into the conversation. It irritated Snapdragon, but she hid the roll of her eyes by tossing her head and letting her long forelock fall over her gentle gaze. “I know being brought here and then having leaders change would not be an enjoyable experience.” Snapdragon was trying to be nice, but the urge to whirl around and glare at her uncle that she could hear chewing on leaves instead of paying attention was driving her batty.
