Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

Silence speaks more than your lies.

Launching Tides
mare | 18.0hhs | bay | captive of the lagoon

Launch let her head lower, her ears tucking tight to her head as her scared child slowly moved forward and lifted her snout up to sniff the stallion. Huntsman had not been taught that stallions were bad so far and Launch was not about to force that on her child. Huntsman would make her own choices in life and she was thankful that right now, she knew in her gut the stallion before her would not harm the child. However, her body was uneasy as she knew Garmr could easily come and force her to stay, no matter what came. She was terrified of the unknown and right now her life was just full of unknowing.

Tilting her head and listening, the mare watched her child and the stallion, not stepping forward just yet as he spoke and shifted to be a bit relaxed himself. Her brows furrowed at his question of how well she knew Nahawi, having not met him herself. “I just know that Snapdragon had been on an errand for him a while back and that he was supposed to be changing the Lagoon.” That was all she knew, literally and it begged a question from her lips. “Do you know Snapdragon or her sire?” Now that was a good question. Snapdragon had been taken over the islands and had settled down in Paradise which Launch was thankful for.

Snapping her head to her child, Launch gave a deep throated whicker to the child that was reaching forward with her mouth wide open, wanting to bite the stallion. That was a habit she would need to break, but all foals like to put whatever they could in their mouths. “I am sorry about her antics.” Launch sighed, her eyes tired as she watched her child stop and then continue on the way to biting him. “You can reprimand her. She thinks everything is a chew toy.”
