I watched the replay, and certainly it was not a good look for Carballo, but a few thoughts came to mind to me.
1) The thing that bothered me most was that Carballo seemed to act like nothing was wrong--very similar to a hard foul in basketball or a roughing penalty in football. It is one of those "jock denials". Not a fan of that at all.
2) I wasn't on the court to be the ultimate judge. You can't tell me things haven't happened before. Have you ever been hit by a ball thrown by a player after a lost point? I have.
3) I think Stu is a little off base by saying "many of the posters herein are not fans of mine and have been pushing for Magic's City's demise." I think you are talking like 3-5 individuals, and most of them don't like Dania's current product either. These are folks who are hoping to be zapped back to 1982. Although nothing beats the sound of the pelota, Magic City has the best roster by a mile and has tried more in 6 years than any other place has tried in 50. And it is quite an experience being there in person for Battle Court! Replies:
