Standing there and watching him, Evangaline took in the words he said and let them fall into a folder in her mind. She was not all too sure that he could save her from the ocean, but she would not put any doubt into the air considering she was already a walking sack of bones that could be shark bait easily. She would not really mind being eaten, but she would rather not let Raegar see her be a red blob floating along the ocean's surface for the world to see. That would leave a bad image in anyone's mind and it set her into the need to stay close to him, her small body falling into its natural place at his hip, not wanting to walk behind him and stare at his rear end where it would be harder to hear him as they walked.


“Have I ever been to Salem?” She asked after his question, her head tilting to the side for a moment as she looked up at him. She had never been to a place like that, or what she figured Salem would be. With the faint scent of sand and water, the mare questioned if Salem was a desert based territory. She would survive in a place like that considering she was already far too thin to survive a place that got loaded with snow during the winter. Yeah, she would have a season to put on weight, but that would not be enough with how she already saw her life going and did not really have the urge just yet to change it.


Humming a faint tune from where she came, Evangaline let their walk lull her into a sense of peace. At the moment she was not alone and Raegar seemed to enjoy her oddly enough. He had been kind thus far and with nothing else to prove that it wouldn't last other than humans, she let them go for the walk he guided her on towards his home.
