I read an article on Calipari indicating he wasn’t making good, or any use, of the transfer portal, while others use the portal to get better players or fill in gaps on their roster. Thus they are not rebuilding from scratch every year..
Also you don’t have to be a 5th year player to enter the portal. It’s also open to underclassman so you can get a player who can give you a couple of good years in your system! Replies:
