I imagine it would be phased in, like variances. X number of Ambulances per day will be manned 1 EMT and 1 Medic.

My question is, how do they decide which ambulance is 1 and 1, and which EMT is there for the day? If we look at variances (and even those ALS rigs that are downgraded) as a gauge of how things would go, they would likely have the slower ambulances running with 1-1.

A good idea would also be to open rehires (seniority based) city wide for EMTs to work the ambo. If they can’t find the volunteers, reverse seniority to fill spots
