We had some interesting nature observations today Apr 19 on the Nature Reserve. A overwinter hatchling Blanding's Turtle (carapace 3 cm) was seen on the alvar.
There was a pair of mating Purple Tiger Beetles (Cicindela purpurea). Also saw a Merlin.
