Ron; I am interested in the locations of the trees you reported. By White Walnut I assume you mean Butternut, Juglans cinerea. I am also interested in the Cork or Rock Elm. Many of the trees that I have checked on the alvar appeared to be this species but turned out to be American or White Elm. Please email privately with the locations since they are new to my Carden Alvar plant list.
