Scott, Bob and I spotted the Sora about 150' east of Miller Road in the wetlands adjacent to Cranberry Lake, north-west of Kirkfield. The bird was unco-operative in the sense that it moved away and fairly quickly was lost to photographic view. Neither Bob nor I had ever seen a Sora before, so that brief encounter was a real thrill.
