Several reports of Dickcissels have been reported in Ontario this summer. I have always felt that Carden Alvar would be an excellent location for this species so birders should watch carefully for this species this summer. A Yellow-billed Cuckoo was seen and heard by myself and several of my team members on Windmill Ranch during the Carden Alvar butterfly count yesterday. Total species for this year's count was 41 species of butterflies with high numbers of Monarchs reported. Replies: There have been no replies.
