The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

"It can not be changed." She said simply, obviously pleased at least to have an apology offered. It did not mean that she would suddenly develop a liking for him, but it did lift a bit more of the tension between them.

As for the birds� wickedness, Ravenshadow said only,"Aye." That was all the credit that she would give to them. Until she had proof otherwise she counted the story a myth, and would not allow the ravens to gain any undeserved mystique from her. If one thought of them as vermin then one could deal with them as such. If, however, one gave into the idea that they possessed some terrible power that they did not then one was apt to sabotage oneself, allowing them free reign to do all manner of nasty things.

They traveled for a few moments in silence before she spoke again. She was unsure of what else she could say, this being the first time that she had ever spoken with him in anything resembling civility. As far as she knew they had nothing in common save family, and in similar situations she only knew how to pick and pry until she found something to talk about, usually doing so for her own entertainment. (That was exactly how she had met FrozenSoul.) But they were not opponents, even if they were not exactly friends either, and she knew that she should supposedly be a little gentler with him than that.

After a while she said quietly. "If you should ever need me all you need do is ask. Despite my feelings on your pairing I bare no ill will toward the pups."
