A Belted Kingfisher flew up to sit on a tree branch overlooking Perch Creek next to the Gallery of Temporary Art on CKL 35 this afternoon. Two swans rested through middday on the ice near bits of open water on the Creek between the dam at Mitchell Lake and 35, but kept their heads down and couldn't be specifically identified.
