On July 2 I visited Carden again and was surprised to see that most of the European Skippers had disappeared. Do they disperse or die or what?
The Cabbage Whites were not around either. It was much windier which may have accounted for the low numbers of some.
There did seem to be more Monarchs and quite a few Morning Cloaks.
