Lately we have encountered some distressed birds.

First the five Barn Swallow chicks left their nest prematurely and were found hopping about on the stable floor.They are now in a box with nesting material and the parents seem to be still feeding.

Second I found an Indigo Bunting in a heap on our driveway. We set it up in a box with nesting material overnight and in the morning when I came to see,it flew away. Thankfully!
