I have the U-pick strawberry patch just off Willowdale Road. I am looking for some feedback from Spafford residents. I would like to put a small stand or shed at the transfer station to collect your used vegetable oil.
I have been making bio diesel for a few years and have realized that there are a considerable amount of residents that produce used oil and need a way to properly dispose of it.
I will be using the used vegetable oil to make bio diesel and admittedly this will save me money, but it also lowers my gas usage and my carbon footprint. I hope to promote the idea of sustainability and this is a small step in the right direction.
I would appreciate your feedback on this topic. I would take full responsibility for the vegetable oil drop-off site. Thank you for taking the time to read this and again please give me your input.
