Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

It didn't surprise Dracana in the slightest that Fate was slowing down, nor that the young wolf would forget her paw placement. It didn't bother the gray female in the slightest either. She knew from experience. Her first trip up a mountain was very similar to Fate's, except Dracana went with her older brother.

She continued to watch the pup make her way up. Dracana said nothing when she stopped, and nothing when she continued up again. When her pupil finally made it to her, the she-wolf nodded. The surpise today was that Fate actually made it this high on her first climb.

This seemed a good time to take a brief break. And the brief time for the youth to ask questions. "Questions, Fate?" the wolf asked, still focused on the pup.
