It has been my experience that a class action lawsuit is usually only favorable to the lead plaintiff, the plaintiff’s attorneys as well as the defendant. It allows the plaintiff and their attorneys to negotiate settlements with large fees for the attorneys and large awards for the lead plaintiff at the expense of other class members. This is a no brainer for the pension board. A class member is nothing more than a negotiating tool a pawn. I have been down this road before. Replies:
