Bravo, Jerry could not have put it any better. Prior to TPD I contributed to SS and since retiring I have contributed to SS only to be penalized for planning for my future. There are a couple of things that bother me and that is the fact that I am acquainted with a few state pension folks and most retired after 1993 and they are receiving the full state pension plus all of their SS. What is the difference?
