REMINDER: Today and tomorrow is the continuation of retirement & financial planning workshops hosted by the Tampa Fire & Police Pension Fund. This quarter's topics include "The Retirement Lies We Tell Ourselves" and "Unlocking The Secrets To Common Sense Investing". Reinventing Your Retirement is a program designed specifically to assist Florida public employees in preparing for a long, rich, and rewarding retirement.
The workshops are at 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. today AND again tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. The location is the Corporate Training Center at HCC Davis Island Campus, 39 Columbia Drive. There is plenty of parking and a shuttle if their lot is full.
These are valuable workshops for everyone with one day on the job or one day until retirement. These are equally beneficial for retirees and the 7:00 p.m. workshop today has been tailored specifically for retirees.
The workshops are open to all active & retired employees of TFR and TPD. Please limit one guest per person. There is no cost and refreshments will be provided.
