Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

The sun hadn't risen, and Dracana was already awake. The wolf had been spending some time alone. She tended to stay near Ice Mountain, either high up on one of the few outcroppings or hidden within the forests. The gray fae's thoughts were lingering on nothing in particular. Absentmindedly, she pawed at a loose pebble. Her green eyes drifted to the small stone for a second.

Fate. That is what came to mind. Or rather, who came to mind. The young wolf was a very willing student. Dracana felt there was more she could have done with the black and gold pup, but she also knew through experience that experience was the best teacher.

She yawned once, finally sitting up and stretching. The sun was finally peeking over the horizon. Dracana began her way down the mountain to catch herself some breakfast. The snow always made trekking up and down the mountain more difficult than usually, but all the same her presence was undetectable. As she made her way down, only her pawprints gave any sign of being anyone having been there.

During the brief trek, she still thought of her young student. Dracana wondered if Fate's father had sent the young fae on her first mission yet. During this time of year, the gray wolfess doubted it, but it was a possibility. She smirked at the thought, knowing it was her teaching that proved for Fate being successful.

Dracana reached the base of the peak and headed into the dense forest around it to find herself a meal.
