I just got a look at Margot Holt's new book on alvar plants. It's beautifully illustrated with excellent photos, and very informative without being overwhelming. Definitely worth gettting for the strat of the blooming season. I bought my copy at the Birdhouse in Orillia. I understand there's a book launch at the Couchiching Conservancy office on May 1, 6-8 p,,n
