Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

LavaFur woke up from sleep, unable to remember what his dream was about. For some reason, he felt as if he should attempt to remember the dream. "Maybe breakfast will help me think clearly," the tiger told himself. He looked at the pile of prey, seeing a long body. "SparkleClaw, is that...is that a snake?" Of course, LavaFur didn't need his friend to answer that. No animal had a long body and lacked legs other than the snake. LavaFur knew there was also the worm, but he had never experienced a worm as long as the body on top of the prey pile. The cub decided to see what snake tasted like, so he took a bite from the tail of the snake. "Wow, we need to hunt snakes more often!" LavaFur said, thinking the snake tasted good. But he didn't exactly want to go on a diet, so he picked a shrew from the pile and ate that for breakfast. "Hey, SparkleClaw, maybe we can try making that necklace you wanted with the stones," he told the other tiger cub. He went outside and found a vine. He started making the vine thinner by clawing at it, so that it wouldn't bear weight on SparkleClaw's neck. Once the vine had a reasonable thickness, he brought it to SparkleClaw and explained to her that it could be used as the string part of a necklace.
