The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

[Heyy, Ryukai, who played Eclipse, is back on BF. She has a plot idea for Eclipse, if you’re interested? Also, sorry for taking so long to post, but no more going away so I can post more regularly now, lmao.]

Kimani must have been so completely wrapped up in the challenger. She had not even smelled the unmistakable fragrance of her sister nearby, lurking in the shadows as always. And she had been very into killing that bastard that had wanted to disturb the peaceful night in Andere Seite. And had also concentrated a lot into the call she had just made for Nephthys. So, when her sister came up from the shrubbery, Kimani at first whirled around, doing a tight 180 on her heels to face the equally as large female. Her mustard yellow eyes immediately recognized the dark figure though, before she even had time to bare teeth.

"You couldn't have had a little fun first? Maybe let me have some fun, too?"

The current alphess of the terra didn’t match her sister’s shadowy grin, instead simply cocked a brow at her words. Nephthys walked by the corpse and passed by Kimani before sitting. She turned so she was facing the dark femme and then also sat.

You know I’ve never been one for sharing.

After replying she shook her skull a few times like a head banger, trying to free her face of the rest of the clinging scarlet paint. Some of it did fly away and splatter against the forest floor, though a decent amount of blood remained caked to her cheeks and chin. Her feral eyes looked around her sister’s feet for what used to be a constant attachment there.

You lose my nephew? He used to be on you like a crow on rotting meat.

Though Kimani wasn’t exactly notorious for easing into conversation, asking about Zanzibar wouldn’t probably be the toughest subject. But they were sisters … extremely close sisters at that, and it was about time they talked about things. All things … Nephthys’ son, the “Eclipse Issue”, Plague, how Beowulf was still in a fucking coma from the cougar attack. Those kinds of things. After taking a quick inhale to check borders for intruders and such, she let her attention fall back onto Nephthys, who was probably in the workings of an answer.

Right then, another challenge howl lit up a fire in her mind, and someone could see it in her eyes. And what the fuck … a pack member, Kenji. Or, a previous pack member, Kenji? Hell, she had not even faintly smelled him in two months or so. The male had already been given a second chance after being kicked out for low activity, and was well on his way towards that once more. And he must have sensed that, because he had felt the need to challenge. But right away, she could also smell Plague right there to handle it. A wicked smile cast over her features for just a moment before she sat back down and faced Nephthys once more.
