Freebies are sometimes posted on this board. Please be aware that a freebie can only be claimed up to one week after it was posted.
Freebies are often granted to "all active characters". A character is considered active if it has made an IC post within the last 2 weeks. Posts made after the freebie was posted do not count.

My half term is coming up (woohoo!) which means free time. Yay.
I am still in the process of university applications which is eating time and stressing me out at the moment... writing the second draft of my personal statement with some difficulty. The course I want to study is so specialised it makes it hard to relate things like work experience and extra curricular activities to it D:
Cancer Awareness Week begins Monday. Over the next few days I will be making HTML character/territory layouts in the 'go pink' and a few in the blue theme - if anybody else wants to make a some, feel free to email them to me at georgia@shamanrpg.net.
Although I am not on the lookout for any new moderators, if anybody would like to apply to become one (or if any current moderators would like to expand their jobs) I can't see the harm in taking on a little extra help. If you're interested, you should contact me through email/msn/aim.
The newsletter is late /again/, although I promise I have it half written :/ it may have to turn into a fortnightly thing if I keep missing weeks. Sorry about that.
ShamanSpace is up and running again. If you go to Random -> ShamanSpace, you can view players' ShamanSpace accounts and leave messages on their boards. You can also make each other awards using the free templates provided at the bottom of the page.

We have already had some people complete their missions. In the interest of the upcoming version 2, I'd like to ask people to complete their missions ASAP. If you haven't already started yours, please do - there's no sanction for you if you don't, it just means less of a headache for me at a later date!
Unless you have completed your mission and need to claim a prize, please don't post to Mallos in the Shrine just yet. I am seriously behind on posts and, mean as it sounds, I can't catch up if people keep adding to my to-do list. Instead of taking the time to do a proper post as I normally would, I will probably also be doing short, 100-word posts for things like granting prizes for the missions. I'm sorry, guys, but I really don't have the time to be doing 500+ words for everyone, so if your post doesn't require me to do a proper post you'll only get a little one.

Oh, yeah xP Just a little something I thought may amuse you all. When I get stressed out, my way of releasing the stress is to go on the Sims 3 - and I'm unimaginative enough to name some of my sims after characters from this game. So:
