Went to the NATURAL GAS FRACKING rally last night in SYR. If we would have increased and developed SSI_oil and natural gas fields in the OCS in 1995, when Clinton and Terry Mc Aullife promised energy indepenence in 1992, yet voted down increasing oil and N-gas production in the 1002 area of ANWR and V.F.C. OCS, we would not be Fracking here in a watershed area. What goes around, comes around.
ANYWAYS, A lawyers was there, and he talked about the evil big oil companies and how their subsidies are ruling the world of energy renewables. I laughed. Liberals don't like to be laughed at. He couldn't even elaborate on these subsidies. And he's a lawyer... He knew no more that what he saw on MTV. Then I film him driving off in his v6 18 mpg AC, electric windows and locks, pearl paint, ( made from natural gas and more expensive and more co2 to repair ) VOLVO that has a life span of 10 years. So think of all the future unnecessary pollution and waste he will be dumping on the rest of us....because he chose to drive a vehicle that gets 18 mpg instead of 40 mpg. Add that up over ten years. And he blames EXXON? WAKE UP. Why didn't he buy a simple, low maintenance 40 mpg mannual shift, no AC, 4 door, etc, YARIS or Aveo? or a Geo metro? I asked him if I could interview him. He said no....
