because micropoll decided it hates me now, i've signed up to polldaddy instead... and it turns out you can do surveys on there, which could be handy ;)
every now and again surveys will appear on news posts for you to complete. you can choose to remain anonymous in these surveys, or you can give your ooc name. if you give your ooc name, you are eligible to claim +5 points to one of your characters; put the character's name into the survey to claim points for them.
obviously, to prevent cheating, those who fill out the survey anonymously cannot claim points.
this first survey is about the core, and is kind of a test for me to see how this works.
