Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

((On the contrary, the average black bear male can weigh up to 425-450 pounds and can grow between 4-6 feet in length and 3-4 feet in height. The average Siberian Tiger however, can weigh up to 400-650 lbs and 9-12 feet long and 3 ½ to 4 feet at the shoulder. Sin is about 4 feet at the shoulder and about 10 3/4 feet long. (Largest recorded was 850 lbs and 13 feet long though and these measurements are from animals in the wild, not captivity)

Even though in some cases the bear can weigh more, most of its weight comes from its large, heavy skeleton and considerable amount of body-fat. By contrast, a tiger's skeleton is quite small given the size of the animal, and its body-fat is minimal - most of its weight comes from its enormous musculature. Tigers have evolved to hunt prey considerably larger than they are - they have to be immensely strong in order to bring down animals like gaur and water buffalo, ect. They are swifter and more agile than bears, with quicker reflexes. They also have much larger canines than bears, and the shortened muzzle and large sagittal crest on the skull gives them more powerful jaws. Not to mention their eighteen razor-sharp claws that has the ability to actually hook into flesh. A large part of the average bear's diet is made up of vegetation, and whilst it does eat meat, it's usually carrion or small or young/older/even sick animals that are easy to catch and kill, meaning they do not require as much strength to kill them as tigers do to kill their prey. Just some interesting facts lol))

Sin decided to stop with the magik for a while and use tooth and claw. She landed onto the bears back and felt her claws find purchase. Since she was much longer than the bear, her back was slightly arched to keep her position. Then he did what she really wasn’t looking forward too; he dropped and rolled. Since he was trying to get her off of him and away from the back of his neck, he left his belly, chest, and throat open and vulnerable. She had felt his muscles tense as if about to make a move, so fearing having him on top of her, she “climbed” in feline fashion over him as he rolled. One of her back paws was still hooked to the flesh and still latched on so when he rolled it was pinned underneath him.

She growled, fangs bared as the pinning of one of her paws restricted her movement. Her paw was flexible, but if it was under the pressure for too long she feared it might sprain or worse fracture. However, it was a sacrifice, for now the bear was on its back, exposing vital areas. She then attempted to swipe at the bear’s throat, claws cold and deadly as with feline speed they swiped and clawed at the throat. Trying to get a foot hold, she tried to move her remaining back paw onto one of the bear’s back legs, which could hurt the leg and hinder it momentarily. She knew she was leaving herself open for returning swipes of its own, but with her speed hopefully she would’ve been able to do some damage with her claws before that happened. She had her jaws open wide and threatening, maybe she might even be able to catch one of his bear paws in her jaws. She continued to roaring and snarling in a battle worthy combination so it made one frightening sound.
