welcome to version five: the seven curses!
still a few things to do - i need to write a proper homepage intro, get up the events and run a full test of the website, but it seems to be working. :) the entire switch was done in a record-breaking half an hour, thanks to the quick work of our fantastic mods. they rock ;) also, our amazing new layout picture was done by our very own alora, so everyone shower her with cookies for her awesome manip skillz.
the babystats alpha has replaced the babystats beta, but it is still undergoing testing and editing phases and there is not yet a walkthrough up to explain its complexity. ill be working on that later this week.
the faq is done, thanks to merlin and alora, who wrote most of it between them. :)
two new boards - praises which is self-explanatory, and odd jobs has replaced organised play. you can use odd jobs to find other plotters but you can also use it as a makeshift studio, a place to ask for html/pics/help with anything, and a place for me to post adminy stuff that /i/ need help with. wins all round. be sure to check it regularly coz i have a feeling ill be using it a LOT.
a quick explanation of the first curse: the volcanic eruption does not just affect falcon point. here's a list of the effects:
- falcon point, shingle brook and midnight shores are covered in lava and are off-limits temporarily. the fairies living there must be rehomed.
- ash and smoke and stuff has filled the air, blotting out the sun and covering shaman with darkness. 'till you hear otherwise, you are rping in a winter-only, night-only environment.
new things coming this version:
- a sub-site free-for-all rping game will replace the free-for-all board.
- more guides and walkthroughs, plus the current ones will be updated.
- grand tournament is picking up again.
- omniety results.
- changes to the rules, especially regarding land points.
- more stuff im too hungry to think of right now.
