An American Bittern was calling in Sedge Wren Marsh last night. Water level is very high - the beavers have been clearing off the poplars along the roadside, and have a good dam well downstream. We are hoping this may kill off some of the shrubs.

Also Upland Sandpipers on Windmill Ranch; Hermit Thrush along Alvar Road.
