Bob Mayes and I scouted Wylie Road in Carden this morning and here are some of the birds that we saw.
We also heard and then saw a Golden-winged Warbler where it has been spotted before, at the parking lot on the south end of the marsh. Unfortunately, my photograph was not up to snuff.
Savannah Sparrow
Swamp Sparrow
Common Yellowthroat, male
Virginia Rail
