 Two years have passed, two years since the world change dramatically for the human kind. It used to be quiet and peaceful, the night used to feel safe and creatures that were only mentioned in books would stay there. But now it has changed, two years ago was the year the vampires decided to come out of their coffins and claim their rights as equal citizens of the humans. That was the year supernatural became real, the year humans knew they were no longer on top of the food chain, the year the world suddenly felt a bit unsafer for the human kind. The vampires has progressed from being legendary monsters of the night surviving on blood to removing humans from the menu thanks to the discovery of synthetic blood called Tru Blood. Many remain apprehensive of these creatures, and refuse to fully accept vampires as equal citizens which has lead to a lot of vampires being staked or burned during the day when they sleep, and this of course starts a very bad circle for vampires does not take lightly upon their own kind being killed. But some American cities have been slightly more welcoming toward vampires, going so far as to set up a safe airline, hotels, and allowing vampires to own and run their own businesses. While government officials try to make things easier for their sunlight challenged citizens, religious leaders shun their existence. Little do they know that there are more than vampires that go bump in the night - the world is full of supernatural creatures - werewolves and shapeshifters - that still maintain their secrecy, waiting to see the fallout of the Great Revelation before they make themselves known. Are you one of the vampires hoping for a better future where all vampires no longer have human blood on their menu, or are you one of those who can't see a future without human blood? Maybe you're one of the werewolves who are a part of a slowly growing rebellion towards vampires? Or maybe you're a shapeshifter using your powers for either good or bad? Or perhaps the human life suits you better were you either accept the vampires or pray to your God that he will get rid of this evil. No matter what you are welcome to My Infinite Fear a rp loosely based on the tv show True Blood. |
