MISCONCEPTION

We are what humans call shifters; animals during the day, and humanoid at night. We have lived in peace for centuries; hiding from the threat that is man kind. The more they explored, the less room we had to hide from them. Only a few years have passed since we had been discovered by humans. Much has changed in that short time. Our once free and noble clan has been enslaved.
The humans feel it is their right to rule the world, as the dominant species on the planet earth. They think we make the perfect pets; a maid as well as something for their children to play with. If we do not comply, we are sent to the white building. The humans call it a Lab. They do not tell us what happens there, but we hear stories. These stories can make even the bravest of us scared for our futures.
