The wind howls over a deserted land. The sounds of the young pair who�d founded the pack of Bandar have gone�just like the short-lived spring. Where they went, no one can say. Many think that the pair had been tempted to follow another path - that they left to search for more territory and merely gotten lost. Others say that many different and bizarre things befell them, but no one seems to really care at this point. The lands are open to be claimed once more. The old ones are gone.

With the approaching winter, prey is becoming harder and harder to find. Fights over food and territory borders are eminent. In times past, when the winters grew strong, small quarrels were waged among packs - some within the packs themselves. No one really knows why they fought�nor do they seem to care. It is like an old drive keeps coming back - the drive to rise and dominate. No longer are the peaceful days which once blessed of the wolves of Aiela. Now are the times of change.

Cave Canem is an intermediate-advanced wolf rpg. The gameplay is quite realistic, though the premise itself is based in fantasy. CC claims its origins in 2004 from a site called Canis Major + Minor (a fantasy wolf rpg created by flutterbyfudge) which I helped run. Much of the content on this site is credited to her and the players of CMM. My goal is to bring back the fantastic atmosphere and creativity we experienced at that site, while starting out on an entirely new plotline. Hunting and pack strength is a very important aspect of the game, and I've designed it in a way which I hope will be both engaging and enjoyable for everyone involved. Why not take a peek?
