Welcome to the Compound. Virtually a paradise for all manner of wild equines, free of predators, disease and natural disasters. The water is clear, and the grass is green. The horses are fenced in, but it doesn't bother them. In fact, they hardly notice it. The fenced in area is so vast, its as if the fences were not there. The humans have left the horses alone for a long year.

When the first group vanished, many paid little mind. But when they returned, fear and horror washed through the group. Their companions had been... altered. Some had horns, some had wings. And most had unique eye colors and odd colors and markings. The unaltered bunch began to wonder if they were next.

It was only a matter of time...

Among the Shodows (ATS) is an intermediate to advanced wild horse roleplaying site with a twist. Recently re-opened, on 8.26.10, there are many territories open, and the owner Jay, might be looking for staff soon. Just beware: Any character you join here will be altered to fit with the plot. The enhancements are not going to be entirely up to the player, but they do have a say.
