alright. oldies will know that previously, you won vouchers through posting which you then traded for awesome things. however, vouchers are now shop purchasable items, so as of right now we are changing the name of the activity vouchers from VOUCHERS to....

activity llamas.
(i was desperate, okay?)
so here's the deal. every time you write a post, you can earn x amount of llamas depending on how long your post is. you can also earn llamas if someone you referred to one of our sisters posts.
BUT WOAH HOLD ON! for the first time ever, you can also earn llamas for high quality posting. dayum!
here's how it works:
. Every time one of your referrals posts (you can have referred them to any of our sisters) = 1 llama.
. Every time you do a post with up to 100 words = 1 llama.
. Every time you do a post with over 300 words = 2 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 500 words = 3 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 800 words = 4 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 1000 words = 5 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 1300 words = 7 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 1500 words = 8 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 2000 words = 10 llamas.
. Every time you do a post with over 2500 words = 15 llamas.
...no, i'm not encouraging anyone to post higher than that.
you can also earn UP TO 10 EXTRA LLAMAS PER POST by putting your post up for critique on the writing workshop board. a mod will read it through and give it 0-10 llamas based on their judgement of quality. you can get up to 5 llamas for doing a good quality post generally and up to another 5 for doing a good post for you personally. no limit to the amount of posts you can put up for extra llamas, but please respect that the mods have lives xP
just to be different and cool, this time we're recording our llamas on the odd jobs board. post up there with:
Name: Your OOC name.
Subject: Your character's names.
Message: Must include:
. Proof of posting by linking to the appropriate post.
. If you claimed extra llamas, proof of this by linking to your claims.
. The word count of each post.
. The number of llamas each post is worth.
you must have all of these. otherwise you'll make the big llama in the sky very angry.
recycling posts or parts of posts will gain you no llamaz.
the closing date, just to be really cool, is midnight gmt 31st december. so basically, from now 'til the new year.
since this is a competition, there are also prizes.
5,500$ doubloons
1 coin for 1 character
+50 land points or create your own inner border territory which you can name
1 level up for 1 character
1 coin for 1 character
1,000$ doubloons
+30 points for 1 character
(prizes may be added to if any of the talented artists among us are feeling generous)
but, hold your horses (or llamas). just like before, even if you don't win you can still trade your llamas up for cool items at the end of the contest. these are in addition to the prizes you can win above.
1 llama can be traded for 1$ doubloon, OR
3 llamas can be traded for 1 point, OR
15 llamas can be traded for 1 land point, OR
100 llamas can be traded for 1 coin
everyone is automatically entered to compete for the main prizes, except me. i can still claim and trade up my llamas, but i can't claim the extra llamas for quality or compete for the prizes. it would be kind of unfair for me to, since i referred half the game and thus always come out on top in these kind of things without even doing any work for it ;)
