Epos just observed as Arthur stood up and walked towards the wooden cabinet. Reaching for his belt loop he grabbed his ring of keys. She remember she once had her own set of keys. Only a few years ago when she still lived on earth. She kept them in her purse. There was one for the house, one for her car, one for her tack box, one for their storage shed, there were probably about 10 keys or so on that chain along with a little picture of Braebuck and her on one side and her and her family on the other. It was odd how just observing him jingle with his keys that memory just came back to her. A light smile spread across her lips as she wondered what happened to it. Along with all of her other belonging on earth. All it did was just further her need to go back to earth and find her family and figure out what actually happened.

It had been a long time since she had tasted wine. Back on earth you had to be twenty-one to drink legally. And she had only been twenty when she came to Shaman. But her mother had offered her a few glasses every once in a while when they had a girls night. Never more than two or so because even after that she began to feel the drunken affect take over her body. It was a strange sensation, but a lovely one when she and her mother just sat on the couch by the fireplace catching up. Most of their wines they had gotten from the various countries they had visited. Epos was beginning to realize when ones she had liked and which one’s she didn’t. Even so she was never one that could quite uncork one. Her mother always had to do it. The one time she had tried she broke the neck of the bottle. She thought her mother was going to be mad but instead they just laughed lightly at the incident. She reached out and grabbed the cup from his hand. Their hands touched for a brief moment through the passing of the cup. She blushed lightly. It wasn’t often she sat around over a glass of wine with the king of the core and of the islands. Raising her goblet she smiled, “cheers!” she said as well and nodded at his statement. Pressing the goblet to her lips she sipped at the rich red wine and smiled happily. Her mother taught her to savor it, don’t just drink it. She couldn’t quite remember why but this was what she did.

Than he began to explain her last question. Epos shift in her seat as her body tilted towards him to listen to what he had to say. He may have been a young king but to her he was to be respected. After all he was her leader and she was rising in the ranks rather…rapidly. So she felt it necessary to give him her full attention. As he began telling her that his body wasn’t old she felt a her head tilt lightly as her eye brows tilted inwards. She felt slightly confused at the statement but knew he would explain himself eventually. Although when he said his next comment she couldn’t help but let her jaw drop. It was, unexplainable to her. How someone could live and die and be reborn. It just didn’t make sense to her at the moment. Who was he then? She leaned in slightly closer, not to noticeably though it was just a natural reaction that said he was starting to tell a good story. Her expressions did not change when he said he was a king on earth. Well it was beginning to make more sense why the young man was seemed to be such a nature.

It was his last statement that make her jaw drop even further. “King Arthur?” She said which sounded more like a question. Her hand ran through her hair as she huffed lightly followed by a small laugh. “Like, THE King Arthur? Knights of the round table and all that jazz?” Than she covered her hand over her mouth lightly. Realizing that her words where quite unnatural and probably unnecessary. “Oh I’m sorry.” She blurted. “That just kind of took me off guard.” She shook her head lightly as she looked down at her goblet and took a rather large swig. Sorry mother, but that called for something more than a sip.
