Every body hates oil? He is innocent says gasoline Joe...
Obama says in his book THE AUDACITY OF HOPE, that " our dependence on oil doesn't just affect our economy. It undermines our national security."
So in Brazil last week he said that Brazil has great oil reserves in the TUPI OIL FIELD located off the coast.
And that these fields can be safely developed. And that " we will be your BEST customers." WHAT? The Tupi oil field in Brazil holds approx. 8 billion barrels. Plus the Iara Oil field in Brazil holds approx 3 to 4 billion barrels.
So when I asked a respected Professor of Journalism from SU why we liberals don't want to open up 1002 area of ANWR to ON SHORE drilling, he says, " there's no oil there..." I laughed. I told him to sell his SUV. Did you know that environmental groups say that ANWR holds 12 to 16 billion barrels equivalant. Yet Obama says that Brazil has bigger reserves? Where are the reporters at the Post?
Also in Obama's book he says that we should not be " sending 1 billion $s a day to regimes like Saudi and Venezeula," etc....
Remember, we use 19 million barrels a day and approx 10 of that goes to transportation fluids, cars, small trucks, big trucks, SUVs boats, jets. I don't think the UAW ( CONTROLLING 60% OF CHRYSLER AND THE US TAXPAYER ANOTHER 10 % )selling more 17mpg Jeeps is going to help. ( LIFE CYCLE OF A jEEP IS 10 YEARS ) Wind, solar don't feed gas tanks.
Why do liberals drive SUVs, yet don't want to advocate increasing safe energy jobs? How much steel piping jobs, etc., will be sold in Brazil to feed the exploration of oil FOR OUR MARKETS AND CHINA'S?
Didn't GE just buy a pipe co in the EU to help future oil explorations in the North Sea for 3 Billion?
SPECULATION COMES FROM THIS BEHAVIOR.
i know some will say... " big oil is evil and Joe you are not seeing the full picture and us consumers are perfect, and that EXXON made me buy that 18mpg pearl paint, A/C, two ton Volvo.... and we don't have to take this seriously. It not my fault, ever...

You can't make 5 million electric cars without 25 million pounds of neodymium ( magnets ) mined from leveling mountain tops. Can't build windpower without rear earth materials that come from toxic mining. SORRY
yes new forms of magnets and capacitors will upgrade these technologies.
